Position Description & Scope
The Hatchery Consultant will serve as a regional expert in best management practices for the utilization of Jamesway Chick Master Incubator (JCMI) equipment and hatchery management. This role involves providing technical guidance and training to customers, assisting in documentation, and supporting both the sales and service teams with hatchery-related insights.

Position Duties & Responsibilities
Consulting:
• Expertise Development: Become a recognized expert in the region on JCMI equipment and overall hatchery management practices.
• Technical Guidance: Provide remote or on-site technical expertise to resolve equipment and hatchery issues for JCMI customers.
• Best Practices Documentation: Assist in documenting best practices and operational procedures, delivering training as required.
• Customer Training: Deliver and disseminate training on JCMI equipment and hatchery operations to customers.
• Reporting: Generate high-quality visit reports after each customer interaction, following internal guidelines and sharing them with the consulting team.

Sales & Service Support:
• Sales Team Assistance: Accompany sales team members on hatchery visits and assist with information dissemination as requested.
• Service Team Assistance: Support the service team by providing technical expertise during hatchery visits and resolving operational queries.
• Presentations: Prepare and present hatchery-related content to JCMI customers, staff, or other personnel.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Agriculture, Animal Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in product management, preferably within the poultry or agricultural industry.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Extensive knowledge of hatchery management and JCMI equipment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to offer practical solutions to customers.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with clients and provide effective training.
• Willingness to travel internationally as required.
