At Jamesway, we design, manufacture, install, and maintain incubation and hatchery systems that are sold worldwide. Based out of Cambridge, ON, Jamesway Chick Master Incubator Company Inc. is looking for a Certified Industrial Mechanic Millwright (Red Seal) on our Afternoon shift- Monday to Thursday: 3:15pm – 1:45am. The Maintenance Millwright is responsible for the general maintenance and repair of all production equipment. They will have the opportunity to coordinate and work with outside contractors when necessary for the maintenance and upkeep of facility and machine related items.
Responsibilities
• Preventative maintenance and repairing production equipment.• Building repairs and maintenance
• CNC production equipment programming changes
• Fabrication of production related items
• Maintain maintenance shop supplies and consumables
• Maintain equipment spare parts inventory
• Other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor
Qualifications
• Self-starter requiring minimal supervision to accomplish assigned tasks
• Good time management skills with the ability to adapt as required
• Ability to lift heavy objects
• Ability to safely operate a crane; lift truck and articulating boom truck
• Ability to work at heights if required
• Conscientious towards Health & Safety
• Certified Industrial Mechanic Millwright (Red Seal – Interprovincial License Preferred)
• Minimum 5 years’ experience as an Industrial Millwright
• Lift Truck, Crane and Articulation Boom Certification
• Fall Arrest Certification
