NEL Farms in Sri Lanka – First Hatch
Many thanks to the great team at NEL Farms in Sri Lanka. April 22nd was the celebration of their first hatch and the excellence of the chicks and the high hatch of fertility rate was impressive. The hatchery installed 3 Jamesway GL40 single-stage incubators and 2 GL40 hatchers as they begin to switch their operations from multi-stage. The impressive first hatch was 94.8 % (hatch of fertile) with all A Grade chicks. NEL is the largest hatchery in the country and a longtime customer. Jamesway support crew was there every step of the way and no one is happier than our team, when the first chicks come out like these!
