Curtis Chicks in Port Hope, Ontario will be the latest renovation for Maple Lodge Farms as they upgrade their hatchery to Jamesway’s Platinum 2.0 incubators and hatchers. The Canadian poultry producer currently operates four huge hatcheries in Ontario and is the largest chicken processor in Canada. This new project represents the second large venture with Jamesway this year, as their revamped operation in Stratford, Ontario, which opened this past summer, is now producing xxxx chicks a week. The Curtis Chicks project will feature 36 Incubators and 11 P40 hatchers. They have also invested in the PilotTM and HatchsenseTM duo in order to maximize their output and have precise control over their set profiles. The selection of Jamesway is an endorsement of their easy to use machines, which feature tight biosecurity and energy efficiency.

The decision to stay with Jamesway was an easy one says hatchery Manager Michael Haalstra “We have Jamesway equipment at our other three hatcheries and they have proven over and over to be robust, easy to use incubators that we can depend on. The support is incredible and we know that Jamesway cares about us and our business”
The Stratford operation also features the Platinum 2.0 and has xxx setters and xxx hatchers. Maple Lodge runs two more hatcheries, in Beamsville and Nanticoke, Ontario, with a total output from their Jamesway machines at xxxx chicks a year.
