Position Description & Scope
The Sales Manager, US- will be responsible primarily for Sales of all Jamesway products in specific US States and report to the Associate Sales Director, North America. The position involves direct management of new and existing customer sales relationships, achieving sales budgets within this region and coordinating with various departments to service customer requirements and promote the Jamesway brand.

Position Duties & Responsibilities
• Own all commercial, sales, and market activities for customers, prospects, and strategic partners within the territory.
• Drive pipeline performance through active Salesforce management, forecasting, reporting, and budget input.
• Build and communicate strong expertise in Jamesway solutions, value propositions, and competitive differentiation.
• Manage leads and opportunities end‑to‑end using strategic selling techniques to close business and achieve sales targets.
• Travel to customer, partner, and Jamesway sites (including Cambridge HQ) as required to support sales efforts.
• Develop and expand customer, partner, and industry relationships through direct engagement, site visits, and events.
• Collaborate with Marketing on lead generation, trade shows, and industry initiatives; support product development and launches with market feedback.
• Monitor and share market trends, customer activity, and competitive intelligence with internal stakeholders and partners.
• Coordinate with Service to ensure successful delivery, installation, customer satisfaction, spare parts support, and issue resolution.

Qualifications
• University or college degree in Commerce/Business or Electrical/Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
• 3-5 years regional sales experience.
• Familiarity with selling industrial capital equipment as part of a larger customer project.
• Familiarity with typical sales cycles of 6-12 months and tender/contract negotiations with value of US$500,000 to US$5 million.
• Poultry industry sales experience (highly desirable).
• Strong track record of individual sales achievements in complex, technical, niche market solutions (desired).
• Good understanding of basic HVAC, hydraulics/pneumatics, and/or electronics controls (highly desirable).
• Knowledgeable of marketing techniques appropriate to B2B marketing and lead generation.
• Strong commercial contract knowledge and experience with tenders.
